The salt marshes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you like quiet walks far from the crowd, go through the salt marshes<\/strong>. Accessible on foot, you can park in one of the free parking lots at your disposal. Since the Middle Ages, the salt marshes have been exploited by the salt workers to obtain a quality salt, drawn from the sea water. Discover their ancestral know-how and walk through the miles of nature and vegetation. Discover also the oyster farming, and take the time to taste some oysters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Veillon Beach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you want the benefits of the beach without the nuisance of the crowd, at the end of this journey through the marshes you will find the beach of Veillon<\/strong>. Even out of season, this place is a treat for the eyes. Turquoise water, white sand and light breeze, everything is there to enjoy the view. If you are a golf fan, the Golf Club of Bourgenay<\/strong>, only a few minutes away from your campsite, is a unique place in the heart of nature, to play a game or several in the calm and serenity. It is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm from November to February and from 8:30 am to 6 pm in March and October.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Sands Zoo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And if you are more of a leisurely stroll, we suggest a visit to the zoo in Les Sables d’Olonne<\/strong>. Close to your campsite, this zoo is open every day from February 5 to November 13. Consult the schedules on their website. This zoo qualifies itself ” d’\u00e9cozoo ” because of its environmental commitment. Indeed, they act for the conservation of local and exotic species and educate their public to eco-responsibility. Take your time and enjoy the animals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
