On this first day of vacations in Vend\u00e9e, the weather is nice, the sun is present, a light breeze caresses our skin, the ideal time for a walk. Put on your most comfortable sneakers, and let’s go !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By bike or on foot, many opportunities are waiting for you to be amazed all day long. And if you prefer the calm of a hike, here is a route that will please you !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Castle of Talmont<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, from the campsite, go to the Ch\u00e2teau de Talmont<\/strong>, an ancient fortress retracing 1000 years of history in the Vend\u00e9e. You will be able to lose yourself in the stone ramparts of the castle and climb to the top to enjoy the view of the coastal landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. between April and July, from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from July to the beginning of September and until 5:00 p.m. the rest of the year. Allow 1 hour and 15 minutes to fully enjoy the visit and go through all the corners of the castle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices vary according to the period, between 2 and 7\u20ac for an adult, between 2.5 and 5\u20ac for a child and between 13 and 20\u20ac for a family package (2 adults and 2 children).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The must-sees: the Veillon & the Guitti\u00e8re<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Then visit the salt marshes <\/strong>via the Cul d’\u00e2ne footbridge which allows you to cross the salt baths. At the edge of this footbridge, observe well, you will find the castle of Veillon<\/strong>. As in the past, the salt marshes allow the recovery and collection of salt in a natural and sustainable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t hesitate to make a detour to the oyster port at La Guitti\u00e8re<\/strong>, a total of 500 tons of oysters are produced there each year, don’t be tempted ? So stop by Le Park<\/strong> to taste it. Open all summer, this seafood restaurant also offers local beers and drinks to go with it. This is the winning combo for a successful tasting !<\/p>\n<\/div>
