First step – History : The Castle of Talmont<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1000 years of history are traced in this castle<\/strong>. Go through this castle and visit its different rooms, its ramparts. Then climb to the top of its keep to admire the view of the coastline. In summer, many animations <\/strong>are available for visitors : falcon show, chivalry show, workshops, guided tours, and escape game ! All year long, different escape games are organized by the castle team around various themes. Come and solve the mystery surrounding the Templars’ treasure, with your family, an ideal activity to share a good time. As soon as the sun goes down, ” the Richard the Lionheart epub ” appears. This night show mixes light shows on the castle, equestrian acrobatics and fire effects. Come and live this magical moment with the actors of the castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– from the beginning of April to the beginning of July, every day from 10:30 am to 6 pm,
– from the beginning of July to the beginning of September, every day from 10:30 am to 7 pm,
– from the beginning of September to mid-September, every day from 10:30 am to 6 pm,
– from mid-September to mid-October, Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm,
– and from mid-October to the beginning of November, from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second stage – Culture : Automobile Museum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After this historical stopover, it’s time for culture. Onwards to the Automobile Museum <\/strong>in Talmont Saint Hilaire. Free parking is available on site, where you can leave your car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open from April to September, this museum is a veritable nest of collections ! For more than 75 years, the Giron family has been collecting old cars <\/strong>to restore them. Cars, motorcycles, their only limit is their passion for the preservation of heritage. In the main hall of 3300 square meters you will be able to contemplate more than 150 vehicles dating from 1885 to the 80’s, each one more magnificent than the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admire these vehicles from April to May from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm, from June to August from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm and the month of September from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The rates are fixed at 15,20\u20ac for an adult, 7,80\u20ac for a child and free for children under 5 years old. A group rate is available.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Third step – Nature : Aquarium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finish with a walk in the calm and freshness of the Aquarium of Vend\u00e9e <\/strong>located in Talmont Saint Hilaire. You will discover more than 5000 marine species in about sixty aquariums. It’s the ideal place to get together as a family and marvel at the mysterious species of the sea floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is open all year round and continuously during the summer to ensure that you are welcome at any time during your stay. Accessible without reservation, this aquarium offers animations <\/strong>throughout the day. Thus, attend the feeding of the animals at 10:45 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm and discover them more closely at 3:15 pm and 5:00 pm. The aquarium and its staff want to be committed to the planet<\/strong>, for this they save energy and have therefore rethought their operation by using mainly wood, LED lighting and heat pumps for heating or cooling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
